Braeberry Barnabas
Murthwaite Chanthal's first foal, a black colt, arrived 19 April 2006. He was gentle, friendly and eager to play with other ponies. At one month I haltered him for the first time. He sniffed it, I put it over his nose, swung the strap over his head and buckled it. He barely moved. Barnabas is a looker, showing lovely movements in the field. As a maturing colt, he has been longing for a pasture mate that we don't have for him. He is quite tall for his age and after some discussion, he has been gelded so he can rejoin the herd and be a happier pony. We also have plans with a friend to prepare him for dressage showing based on his looks and movement. She's excited to get started with his groundwork. |
