Townend Bunny

Bunny head profile Bunny with Anne on her first day

Townend Bunny was foaled July 1999 in Cumbria, England and flown to Washington as a foal. We purchased Bunny in the summer of 2004 from Musta Hevonen Farm.

Bunny is friendly, especially if food is involved. She is all black and in the correct light her summer coat has a nice dappling affect on her barrel. She can turn on a dime if she wants to, but often likes slow motion when people are involved. She is 13hh.

Bunny's sire, Drybarrows Jeff, has won multiple Championships in the UK.

Bunny's first filly, Mustahevonen Rheged's Trixie, joined our herd in November 2009. The mother/daughter resemblance is unmistakeable.

Braeberry Anne is Bunny's first foal for us on 7 August 2005. She is an all black mare now owned by Fell Legend Farm.

Her second foal for us was again a solid black filly, foaled 23 May 2007. The filly's name is Braeberry Liberty and is owned by Morningstar Royal Friesians.

Yet another solid black filly arrived on 15 June 2008. We've named her Braeberry Magna Carta, known as Whisper. She is leased out for a future pony party career. Due to the filly's rough start, Bunny was not bred for 2009.

Bunny is in foal for 2010 by Copperbeech Casper. She has a chance of a bay this time, but her typing on the foals seems consistant, short, compact, sturdy and loves food, oh and should I add, female?
