Cassie was foaled April 27, 2005 and is the first foal of her dam, Nutmeg. Nutmeg's sire is a registered Morgan, and dam is a half Welsh, half Shetland mix.

Cassie's sire is Rosey's Gold Star, a registered palomino Section B Welsh. Cassie is registered part breed Welsh. She has lovely movement, especially when there's someone to show off for, and will be great in the showring.

She is buckskin, and her name is derived from Cassia, the tree used as cinnamon in North America.

Cassie is a character, loves attention and lets kids work around her. She was used in a petting zoo at the Ag Fest in Salem, Oregon 2006 and 2007. Her formal training is starting this year and she will be available for purchase in the summer.
