Murthwaite Chanthal was foaled in Cumbria at the Murthwaite Stud and arrived at Braeberry Farm 14 March 2006. We purchased her in 2005 and had her bred to Heltondale Bobby who was located in Holland at the time. She is very friendly and has won our admiration quickly, along with the admiration of others who visit our farm.

Chanthal's first foal was a solid black colt named Braeberry Barnabas in 2006.

In 2007, Chanthal foaled a lovely bay filly named Braeberry Clarabel. Plans for Chanthal this winter are to continue her ridden work and enter her in some local shows.

Chanthal has been exposed to BroughHill Hadrian's Wall for a 2008 foal.
