We had no new foals in 2009, as we either did not breed ponies or they didn't take when bred. We should have a few for 2010 as we have bred the purebred mares and two others to Copperbeech Casper and our grade mares were exposed to a black and white paint stallion.

We have sad news of Braeberry Portia the filly pictured above right. She took a liking to Star Thistle in November 2009 and got addicted. The poison affects the nervous system quickly and by the time it was noticed, it was too late to save her.
